How can I get a basket or rack on my local litter bin

Please contact your local council if you think a container basket or rack would be an effective way to capture eligible drink containers in your area.

If the trial is successful, we will partner with local councils to install more container baskets and racks across Tasmania.

What containers are eligible for a 10c return?

Most 150ml to 3L drink containers are eligible for a 10 cent refund provided they are made from glass, plastic, aluminium, steel or liquid paperboard (carton).
