CWA Online Branch support early intervention to support better literacy outcomes for children by encouraging parents and family members to read aloud to babies and pre schoolers to prepare them for school entry and a life long love of reading. Marine Rescue volunteers undertake a range of specialist training including an annual update of basic first aid qualifications and extending to mental health first aid and trauma workshops.
The need for wildlife rescue in Tasmania never stops. Bonorong is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, and last year we answered nearly 18,000 calls for help. This constant demand, which grows by hundreds each year, underscores the urgent need for your support. Your donation directly fuels our ability to respond immediately, providing critical care and hope for injured and orphaned wildlife across the State.

The Hobart Clothing Hub provides free, new clothing to vulnerable individuals. We are key charity partners with Thread Together who redirect new, unsold clothing destined for landfill to people doing it tough. We do this through three main pathways: our Clothing Hub in Hobart, our mobile wardrobe taking clothes to regional areas in Southern Tasmania, and site wardrobes in women’s shelters, homelessness services, RHH and Prisons Tasmania. We partner with over 80 services and government agencies.
Our club has grown to accommodate Mens Seniors, Reserves and Under 18s, as well as Masters both Womens and Mens. Associated with this growing cost is more equipment for all five teams, including Footballs, bibs, training aids etc.

Kickstart is the custodian of an internationally significant collection of some of Australia’s oldest buildings. It is a site with immense cultural and historical significance to Tasmania. This includes two orphanage buildings built by Governor Arthur in 1831, around the same time as the iconic Port Arthur Prison and Anglesea Barracks. Kickstart is dedicated to renovating and rejuvenating these important buildings, bringing new life and purpose to them.

In 2025, we planning to expand our successful Big Butt Hunt event into Tasmania. We welcome participants to form groups and tackle the issue of cigarette butt litter through a gamified approach to litter collection. We are the sole soccer club representing the northern suburbs of Launceston. We are based at Churchill Park in Invermay. Mixed youth age ranges from 5-17 years of age. The club’s juniors compete in the Northern Tasmania Junior Soccer Association competition (NTJSA).
We are fundraising for new sporting equipment for training/games, skill acquisition sessions for all ages – for example mini roo workshops and sponsoring individual players for regional team games.
North West Bay Scouts are aged from 5 to 18 years old and all age groups go camping several times every year. While we look after our camping gear carefully it does wear out and right now we need to replace our tents, stoves and other camping gear. We would be very grateful for your donation and all funds will provide wonderful opportunities for the kids to experience the great outdoors and learn new skills.

Raptor refuge is constructing a state of the art Raptor treatment facility, we will have world class equipment and with our partner vet clinic will be able to give our many Raptorial patients the very best of care, and not having to drive to city to get this care and attention.
We will have consult room and treatment area and sectioned off hospital cages of variou sizes, complete with heat pads and infra lights, all closely monitored via CCT and associated high tech equipment.

Clyde is a special horse doing a special job. Clyde is an RDA horse, which means he works with people with disabilities of all ages. He assists participants to increase their confidence due to his beautiful temperament, among many other benefits the participants gain from riding Clyde.
Clyde is an older horse, with horse related issues. He cost a lot to keep, with a special diet, supplements and medication.
Please assist RDA to provide for Clyde, so he can keep doing the job he loves.

We are a genuine No-Kill and Not For Profit cat rescue and sanctuary who specialise in rescuing and rehoming unwanted, stray and abandoned cats and kittens.
Our rescue is solely staffed by a team of dedicated and experienced volunteers so every single cent donated goes directly towards supporting the cats and kittens in our care.
Art From Trash is an Annual Art Exhibition that celebrates creative reuse of discarded materials to produce amazing visual art. Open from 18 to 27 July at the Salamanca Art Centre.
Established in 1993 by our NFP Workers Cooperative, the AFT exhibition has become an iconic exposé of creativity through reuse. This event has proved itself as a powerful and much needed change agent for a better future.

Around half of Tasmanian households experience some level of food insecurity. Loaves and Fishes Tasmania repurposes donated or low-cost food, distributing meals to 250+ agencies to feed Tasmanians in need. Our Rotary club will donate refunds received under the Recycle Rewards Scheme directly to Loaves and Fishes. We aim to deliver 20,000 eligible drinking containers per month to the Recycle Rewards vending machines or any Depot in Tasmania, thus generating $2000 per month until Christmas 2025.

Established in 1891 the Royal Hobart Bowling Club is one of the oldest bowls clubs in Tasmania and is now in need of some new improvements for all members and guests from the community. Our current facility does not have an undercover all weather seating area. The new improvements include expanding our bbq area to include an all weather undercover seating and viewing area for all visitors and guests so they can enjoy watching the game of bowls without the harsh effects of the weather.
You can help save the lives of preterm babies born in Tasmania. Almost all preterm infants born at less than 30 weeks have frequent life-threatening pauses in breathing. Existing monitoring methods cannot detect these pauses with the reliability necessary to prevent their life-endangering effects. With your support, local medical researchers can develop tiny sensors to detect these small baby’s breathing. Please donate today.
We provide care for the companion animals of people escaping domestic/family violence or who are temporarily hospitalised or homeless. Safe Beds is a statewide offering with around 150 participants each year. This unique service requires significant resources to transport animals from unsafe situations into temporary homes safely. Our Safe Beds animals stay with us for between a week and 18 months while their owners get back on their feet. Our only goal here is to reunite people and their pets.

Shekinah House Inc – building hope for the homeless – fundraising to purchase a building to be able to offer supported transitional accommodation for those who would otherwise be homeless on the streets- including those who would otherwise exit prison or rehabilitation into homelessness.
All proceeds go directly to providing food for people in the Sorell municipality doing it tough. We provide free groceries and fresh produce every week to 70 households including over 80 children.

Home-educated students from across Tasmania will have the opportunity to experience the 2025 Southern Tas Homeschool Camp, a unique, multi-day event designed to inspire, connect, and enrich. This year‚ the camp offers a vibrant and diverse activity program across all ages and many topics; including hands-on science, engaging sports and physical activities, and opportunities to develop social relationships through authentic interactions.

Tassie Mums provides essential baby and children’s items to social service organisation across Tasmania that work with vulnerable and at-risk children. Supporting 2,523 children in 28 (of 29) council areas in 2023/24. Our bundles diverted 160,000 items of clothing from landfill and returned $850,000 worth of goods back into community. Funding will contribute to much needed items like cots, car seats and prams that directly benefit the health and well-being of vulnerable and at-risk Tassie kids.
