
Step 1: Collect eligible drink containers.
Look for the 10c mark on the back of your empty drink container.
Most 150mL to 3L drink containers will be eligible for a 10 cent refund if they are made from glass, plastic, aluminium, steel or liquid paperboard (carton).

Step 2: Take them to a refund point
Once the network is fully rolled out there will be 49 refund points across Tasmania.

Step 3: Earn a refund or make a donation
All eligible drink containers earn you a 10 cent refund that you can choose to keep for yourself or donate to a local charity or community group.

Check Eligibility
Save time and check your container’s eligibility while sorting. Any ineligible drink containers can still go into your kerbside recycling bin.
Have a collection bin
Set up a collection bin at home, work, school to help collect eligible drink containers from others.
Look for the 10c mark
There are rare instances where you may find a drink container with the 10c mark that is not yet accepted in Tasmania.
You can still do the right thing by disposing of it in your kerbside recycling bin.
