There are multiple ways to receive your 10 cent refund. You can choose to keep your refund or donate to your favourite charity or community organisation.

Retail vouchers
When you use a reverse vending machine you can choose to receive a retail voucher for the full refund amount at the end of your transaction. The voucher will be printed instantly and no personal details are required.
A retail voucher is able to be used at participating supermarkets like Coles, IGA or Woolworths.

Electronic payments
If you use the Recycle Rewards app you will be able to receive your refund directly into your bank account via an electronic funds transfer (EFT). Your refund will go straight into your nominated account. PayPal may also be available at some refund points.

Cash
Some refund points (typically depots) can offer your refund in cash on the spot.

Donations
There are several ways to donate your 10 cent refund to local charities and community groups.
Donate your refund on the spot
You can find a registered charity or community organisation to support at your local refund point or scan a barcode provided by your favourite charity or community group.
Donate your refund via the Recycle Rewards app
You can choose to support a specific charity via the Recycle Rewards app. You can browse donation partners quickly and easily on the app, or use our Donation Partner search tool (coming soon).
Donate your drink containers
Many community organisations collect eligible containers. You may be able to drop off your empty drink containers directly if they have a collection point.
